From the heart

Four black teens in Philadelphia with nothing other than weekly tranpasses and opinions. Still, the criticism and general interpretation seem to change from day to day regardless of aforementioned teens consistency.

Whatever. We're not doing anyone some terrible injustice, and we don't claim to be changing the world or enlightening the folk beyond belief or recognition. Credences, food for thought, images, a few laughs here and there, and opinions are all that we can offer you. Whether you choose to accept or decline, you are here, as are we, daily.

To face the rain or sunshine, parade or riot, cookout or Saturday detention..We ride Septa.

1992

Ima be real with you all. I never heard of Va$htie until that video for "Us Placers" came out. I never knew about the numerous "1992" Parties that she throws and has thrown..Am I late with this?

Anyway, these are like 4 of my favorite flyers for the event(s):

[*And speaking of flyers, the official "Due For Love" Barbeque/Benefit Show will be up TOMORROW! So stay tuned.]

I personally think it's beyond awesome because I love the 90's. I mean, it was Hip-Hop's peak (I dare you to disagree with that). Plus it gives people the opprotunity to where their Hi-top fades and whatnot without looking out of place. I know the feeling, trust me. Maybe one day I'll be in there. Just having casual conversation with say...Mos Def, nodding my head to Award tour or something. Just dreaming here, don't mind me.
But yeah, here's what I leave you with: Two(2) things.
1.) Oscar D'leon dancing to Dj King Solom.

2.) Va$htie.com Bangin site, you should check it out.
