From the heart

Four black teens in Philadelphia with nothing other than weekly tranpasses and opinions. Still, the criticism and general interpretation seem to change from day to day regardless of aforementioned teens consistency.

Whatever. We're not doing anyone some terrible injustice, and we don't claim to be changing the world or enlightening the folk beyond belief or recognition. Credences, food for thought, images, a few laughs here and there, and opinions are all that we can offer you. Whether you choose to accept or decline, you are here, as are we, daily.

To face the rain or sunshine, parade or riot, cookout or Saturday detention..We ride Septa.

I used to half step & still want it all

A good song is usually easy to relate to. But some can't attest to how everybody's getting money and how everybody is out here grinding and living the perfect life. At times we are slackers, lairs, cheaters, assholes, push-overs, all dat. Too many people lie to themselves, singing "My Chick Bad" when clearly they wifed a duck; or singing "Whothefuckareyalll!" at the top of their lungs, when they turned their back on all their real friends and made a bunch of new cooler friends at their college who accept them for who they aren't.

Stop frontin'.

It's good to dream, but sometimes it's better to see your reality for what it is and still be able smile when your starring at that special someone in the mirror.

Ryshon Jones - Still Remember To Smile

"My dreams over power my realities, living for GOD so I aint shit if he ain't proud of me."

Staying Alive

When I wake up in the morning, my initial thought is "How do I see the world today, and how can I get someone else to see it too?" Because somedays I wake up and say "Fuck the world" or "Fuck girls," and some days I wake up wanting to embrace the world and enjoy every small detail of it. No matter what I see or feel though, I always have the same urge to make things better. Only because I know there were people before me that have. And all I really want out of life is basically to have someone wake up in the morning, feel like shit, think of me and the things I did in my lifetime, and have a strong urge to impact the world like I did. In a nutshell, I aspire to inspire...like them.

Just do it

This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often. If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over-analyzing; life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once: seize them. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people. We are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating. Life is short. Live your dream, and wear your passion.

World Cup 2010

From what I could see I was one of the few black people downtown to watch the event on the huge monitor. Amazing how emotional people were but I must admit I was pretty fuckin hype when my team SPAIN wrecked The Netherlands. Spain and Ghana are my favorite soccer team so im happy to see one of them take it all.

History & Future

IMG_0611

Seated there (doing what he might do) is my buddy "Dru Chris" of Artists & repertoire. I'd like to think that history was being made before and after this picture was taken, right in the comfort of my own patio. I won't go into details (because honestly, I don't know how to without stopping) but just know that the future has come to fruition.

Show me a good time, aw yeah, aw yeah.

Big Sean- High Rise

I've never been a big fan of Big Sean. So I won't waste much of my time or yours giving my opinion on the guy. But this song actually doesn't make me want to grimace when I sit down to listen, and the video actually makes me like him just a tad bit more. (Not like, just like more than dislike).

I still wish he hadn't attempted to rhyme "whateveritwasthathesaid" with "pilates", and that he hadn't tried to remind us for the umphteenth time that he wears "high end" clothing. So no, I still don't think he's underrated, but if this song is anything like what he has planned...Than Big Sean might be bearable in the future.
