Not alot of people know about chip the ripper, hes from cleveland and is good friends with Kid Cudi. His Mixtapes are ridiculous, he also has his own blog, SLABUP.com. His rap style is laid back and simple but catch on some deep tracks and you might dig the style. All around good rapper......
4. Gemstones a.k.a Gemini
This has been my man for a while now. He has so much energy in his voice and the attitude he has while getting his point across make him a-fuckin-mazing. Hes been putting stuff out for around 5 years btu hopefully 09 will be the year of gemstones
3. Drake a.k.a Drizzy
Drake is lil wayne without everything i hate about lil wayne. Drake's not gay, he doesnt have an annoying voice, he doesnt steal peoples stuff and drake can actually sing. Drake used to ghost write for weezy so hes just a better version of weezy. Drakes simple flow can be annoying sometimes but hes still good
2. Kid Cudi
A kid named cudi....this dude is the truth, i wish he would put out more tracks. His wierd style and hot beats make a good new combination.....everybody loves this kid.....
1. Wale
Im going to be highly upset if this man does not make it in 2009. Out of all the rappers up here his shit is most consistent and he is the most versatile. He speaks of experience and educates the people about violence in DC and other issues in the world.....I hold this dude in high regard.....support wale
