From the heart

Four black teens in Philadelphia with nothing other than weekly tranpasses and opinions. Still, the criticism and general interpretation seem to change from day to day regardless of aforementioned teens consistency.

Whatever. We're not doing anyone some terrible injustice, and we don't claim to be changing the world or enlightening the folk beyond belief or recognition. Credences, food for thought, images, a few laughs here and there, and opinions are all that we can offer you. Whether you choose to accept or decline, you are here, as are we, daily.

To face the rain or sunshine, parade or riot, cookout or Saturday detention..We ride Septa.

Clutch of the Tiger!

I was checking out Midterm Yesterday and came across a post that pertained to Curtis Mayfeild. Now, I will neglect the fact that "Da Entourage" sampled that song only to diminish the song's true artistic (which was the whole point in the post) and say that that particular post really got me goin.

I was on my second favorite site, okayplayer.com, when I just so happened to come across this Jazz/Funk Fusion type Composer named Shawn Lee. He rocks a mask like that Metal Fingered guy (A Tiger Mask), but his music is definitely on a whole nother (lmao - nother) level when it comes to Soul. Don't get me wrong, DOOM def. has some soulful ones, but this is a totally different type of soul.

This guy's music is more appropriate in a movie score, or in a nice saavy Restaurant like North By Northwest. YEAH! Where the band plays live, and you're at a dinner table having casual conversation with a freind (preferably a date, but freinds are worthy, too.)
