From the heart

Four black teens in Philadelphia with nothing other than weekly tranpasses and opinions. Still, the criticism and general interpretation seem to change from day to day regardless of aforementioned teens consistency.

Whatever. We're not doing anyone some terrible injustice, and we don't claim to be changing the world or enlightening the folk beyond belief or recognition. Credences, food for thought, images, a few laughs here and there, and opinions are all that we can offer you. Whether you choose to accept or decline, you are here, as are we, daily.

APC Fall/Winter 2009

APC is my (second) go to brand for a reason. Not only do they provide me with denim that I can abuse close to everyday. But they also provide me with items to add to my list of things that I would like to buy but will most likely forget about.

Seriously though folks, invest in some APC denim. I have had my New Cures since December and they have held up (and faded) beautifully with the exception of a minor crotch rip.

A new addition

If you ever need to laugh. Just count on my nigga (and I say my nigga with absolute disdain for anyone who thinks that I should not, nigga). I haven't added a blog to the side in quite some time but, you will see this one. Yes indeed, this is Teej. My partner in crime, my favorite photo subject, my lil pokey, that bul across the rail road tracks, audience to my stupid jokes, tolerator of my sporadic behavior, the background music to my random outbursts of song & dance. Yes my lesser friends, this is Teej. The Teej, get like em.

Round Five/Six

It was just recently brought to my attention a few days ago that I have been neglecting my lookbook, and the silly blog posts entitled "Round such and such" (as well as the blog in general). Maybe because college homework is more hectic than I could have perceived, or maybe because I am not so keen on uploading photos when I could be drinking my youth away?

Take your pick.

In any case, these are the past few weeks with the exception of "hangover days". And I promise you that they were not so notable, consisting only of high school logo hoodies, american apparel slacks, and vans. You are not missing out.

Excuses aside, I welcome you to Round...

Guess what time it is

Welcome to leather jackets in the morning, cool breezes in the evening, skullies a top domes, five panel hats, fan boys, and cuffed denim. Welcome to red skies, and yellow leaves beneath timberlands.

Farewell to cut off's, shades, and tank tops. Because gradually you're becoming corduroys, hater blockers, and oxfords.

But open arms to the Hot cider, candied and caramel apples, beer festivals, and sweet potato pie.

Shit, open arms to the tree's. Change all you like.

Good fight...Now, fight Mosley.

LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - Floyd Mayweather Jr, back in the ring after a 21-month retirement, registered a unanimous points decision victory over Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez in a non-title welterweight bout on Saturday.
The undefeated American, widely regarded as the best defensive fighter of his generation, dominated all 12 rounds with his left jab and agile movement to improve his career record to 40-0 with 25 knockouts

But...you keep ducking the real fight. "Money Mayweather vs. Sugar Shane Mosley", "Let's get it on!" (as Mosley said himself.)

Final rage

That's right, no more count down. Which means that I will make the trek to walmart after classes today in a dirty Virginia Taxi cab in order to buy the album. You might do the same if you know what is best for you. And if taking a cab in to a Walmart in Rural Virginia does not appeal to you, you can always download. I promise not to think any less of you. While at Walmart also pick up Jay-Z's album, I will do the same although I am already unimpressed with the exception of "Empire state of mind".

Yes, today is the day. And to end this half assed countdown are a few pictures of the Man on The Moon.

Blogs worth taking a look at

Finding a good consistent read (and or look) in the blogosphere is tough considering everyone with an opinion about anything has one. That's fine, beautiful I suppose? Whatever. Blogs that differ (even slightly) from the norm (consisting of streetwear, sneakers, Kid Cudi (I had to put myself in check, excuse me), and daily dairy type posts (that no one honestly gives a fuck about)) are hard to come by.

In order to peak interest (my interest) on a daily basis a barefaced theme is needed. A "solid foundation" if you will.

So when they do manage to exist and thrive undeviated, they should be celebrated. Rather, showcased in one blog post from another blog that thinks it's better than most blogs. Because afterall, bloggging is the most important thing on this earth and worth killing over. Everyone knows that.

Too bad I don't really know anyone on this list personally. If I did, they might actually read this and relish in their "accomplishment".

Nevertheless,cheers.

So in reality, I missed two days of the countdown. But if you can close your eyes, erase your memory and forget. Than I am more than willing to not apologize for it.

Because I can

Spell Check

1.Lack of punctuation and grammatical errors really bother me.

2.Hypocrites are the funniest people, sit in a room of them. Let them talk. Wait no, share a blog with them.

3.Michael Jordan is not a hard name to spell.

4.Kid Cudi's album will be counted down to no matter what. The anticipation and refusal to listen until the official drop is what makes it fun, for me.

5.Often times I want to delete things on here but I do not. And that is out of decency..Not respect.

6.Hezekiah is the fucking man, man.

7.Trent is the fucking non smoking man, man.

8.Opinions from individuals undeserving of a glace, let alone respect, mean little if anything.

9.Chocolate is back in style.

10.Posting something this immature wasn't apart of my plan..

Operation Lifesaver

"Error PHL, day two, our jumpers wet like mornin dew, clothes nice like J. Crew" - John C. Carney.

Waking up to text messages like those can make even the worst of school mornings better. We ALL miss you, John. Best of luck at Shipley man. Advisory just isn't the same.

My thoughts are completely scrambled right now, so I'll just list everything that is going through my mind right now.

1. AnnaB BB Knighton and Elizabeth Perkins are great. I hope you guys see this tonight.

2. Quran and I refreshed the Supreme page for five minutes straight in the computer lab during lunch. We both wanted to get a box hoody from the 11 A.M. online drop. Well sadly, our lunch period ends at 11:04 and we didn't see any box hoodies so we gave up. Awkward school time bells for the loss.

3. I just video chatted with Daria and her college roommates. It was nice.

4. Big thanks to Sam, Tindal and Falon for help with the essay. And thanks to Brea for the great company at Tindal's house the other night, I hope we begin building a great rapport. September 15th.

5. School sucks.

Happy birthday Ashley Velez.

Well I bought a planner for school for the first time since 6th grade, and I plan to do all my homework from now until June 25th.

One good Summer day at Abington Friend's School, and another great Summer night at Smiff's house, enjoy.
